TAQA Transmission appointed KN International for the N-16888 “Consultancy Services for Al Ain Water Transmission Network Study” to conduct a comprehensive study of water supply security for the Al Ain region. One of N-16888’s recommendations is the construction of new interconnections and isolation/control valves at strategic locations required to increase system security, flexibility, and redundancy in Al Ain transmission system.

In addition, Al Ain network, spanning various zones and relying on multiple receiving stations (RPs) or Connection Points to supply Al Ain distribution network

    • The scope of consultancy services for this project is divided into two (2) lots as follows:
      1. Lot 1: Modification and/or replacement works at existing Connection points (RPs)
      • The scope of this lot shall include site surveys, investigations, optioneering, studies, preliminary design, final design, EPC tender documents preparation, tendering and bids evaluation, head office services and site supervision during construction and warranty periods.
      2. Lot 2: Connection and Segmentation work for existing Al Ain Transmission Pipelines
      • The scope of this lot shall include site surveys, investigations, optioneering, feasibility studies, preliminary design, final design, constructability studies, and EPC tender documents preparation.
