The existing Mussafah pump station consists of two pump groups, Lot D and Lot F. Lot D pumps group supplies Mussafah local network, while Lot F pumps group supplies Al Wathba area and Abu Dhabi Island. There is a rising demand for water in the Mussafah coverage area, encompassing ICADs, MBZ City, and Rabdan. Additionally, there is a need to transfer water from newly established production plants to the Abu Dhabi Mainland. This initiative seeks to compensate for the flow previously provided by the Umm Al Nar plant, which will supply certain areas in Mussafah following the decommissioning of the Umm Al Nar plant.
