The Yas Marina Circuit Kartzone project involved the development of an 18,000 sqm karting circuit and a 4,500 sqm retail, entertainment, and administration building. The project was delivered in two phases, with partial completion and operations commencing in Q3 2016, and full handover achieved in Q1 2017.

Key responsibilities included: 

• Managing the entire construction process for both the karting circuit and the two-story building. 

• Building and overseeing the project delivery teams, including defining scopes of work, evaluating tender responses, and assisting in Consultant and Contractor appointments. 

• Collaborating with ADMM’s legal counsel on contract development, claims management, and handling variations. 

• Leading the development and internal review of the project scope in coordination with karting circuit design experts across all phases—concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction. 

• Acting as ADMM’s senior construction consultant and client representative, managing interactions with contractors, stakeholders, statutory authorities, and internal ADMM departments. 

• Conducting comprehensive risk identification and analysis at project initiation, with ongoing risk assessments throughout to address and mitigate potential issues.
