The Yas Marina Circuit is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, one of the Formula-One tracks in the Middle East.

After conduction of a detailed site survey, several defects have been identified at Yas Marina Circuit. KN‘s scope of work was to perform the design and site supervision during the rectification works being conducted, in order to resolve the existing facility defects at the venue. All construction and installation works of these defects, including testing and commissioning, have been finished as per the awarded contractor’s schedule.

Objective of this Rehabilitation: Reconstruct and modify the existing ventilation system in the total of eighteen team buildings’ kitchens. KN prepared a design/specifications for a contractor to install a new intake line of un-tempered, filtered make-up air, enhance exhaust line/fan from existing kitchen hood to the outside un-filtered, modify the false ceiling, and enabling works including re-routing of as built systems; to allow non-obstructed installation of new ducts.

• Supervise and enforce the quality of repair works
• Verify the quantities of repair works
• Check and release progress invoices and variation claims
• Leading the testing and commissioning of works to Project Manager and ADMM
