Western Region Municipality is developing the Emirati housing in Al Yeef Mahder. The proposed development is located approximately five (5) kilometers north of Liwa town proper and has an area of approximately 185 hectares. The infrastructure covered in the design will serve 282 plots with various land uses including residential, commercial, religious, governmental, parks and utility plots. The scope includes:

Otak International commissioned KN International to prepare design for the potable water network and electrical network with the following scope.

• 27,000m of potable water network ranging from 100mm to 600mm diameter including valve chambers, hydrants and connection to existing transmission line.
• 45,000m of 11kv power network including feeder pillar
• 13 no. of substation
